We love the Globe.  Before it was "We", I'd come here, exhausted at the end of a day and unwind with a beer and their addictive beer sticks and enjoy the amazing friendliness of everyone working there and all would be well in the world again.  The day before auditions were to start we still didn't have any place to hold them and no money to throw at the issue.   I was walking past The Globe as the manager, Duncan Townsend, was opening it up.  I explained my situation.  Within seconds he offered me - a total stranger - the upstairs area for both audition days.  That "yes" meant and means everything to us and this production and we want everyone in the world to know about The Globe Tavern because it's the biggest-hearted pub in the land.
